Description & Use The Tactical Petroleum Terminal (TPT) is intended for receipt, bulk storage, and distribution of three petroleum fuel types and makes up the Tactical Petroleum Terminal section of the Inland Petroleum Distribution System.

The system consists of three major areas:

Pipeline Connection: Allows for connection to pipeline with capabilities to store contaminated (mixed) fuel and direct fuel to appropriate fuel unit (tank farm).

Tanker Truck Receipt: Provides manifolds for receiving fuel from tanker trucks.

Fuel Unit (Tank Farm): Provides storage of fuel and dispensing manifolds.

TPT-1 PhotographThe system is self contained and consists of all items necessary to operate the TPT, including Fire Suppression Equipment Sets with Fire Fighting Suits and accessories, Floodlight Sets, Type D-1 Nozzle Assemblies, Pump Units, Collapsible Fabric Storage Tanks, and Fuel Testing Kit. In addition, all flexible piping, fittings, and tools are included as well as storage/shipping containers.
